Mai haske means “owner of light,” or “one who is characterized by light,” in the Hausa language of West Africa (WA). It was also the “African name” given to my wife by a Hausa man upon learning that she did not have one.

We are K and J, Baptist missionaries to WA, and this site is dedicated to Jesus Christ, the true owner of Light, who is the Light of the World. Our prayer and purpose is to shine the light, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so that all may hear and have the opportunity to follow Him.
